Amy is a phenomenal piano teacher. Aside from clearly knowing her stuff and being superb technically, she has the unique ability to reach and work with kids of of all abilities. Having had three very different children study with Amy, I am impressed with her ability to customize lessons to meet their unique needs and creatively find ways to help them grow. She is patient yet firm and sets clear and high expectations. I appreciate her professionalism, her excellent communication skills, and her ability to nurture and motivate. My children have progressed leaps and bounds under her tutelage and I am so grateful for the solid musical foundation she is giving them.
